Amarker (“the extension”) is a Chrome extension that lets teams attach element-level notes to web prototypes and compile them for AI coding assistants. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
We do not collect your browsing history, passwords, or payment information, and we do not read page content that you have not actively annotated.
Data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and transmitted over HTTPS. API access is authenticated with bearer tokens, and only members of a workspace can view that workspace's annotation data.
We do not sell your data or share it with third-party advertisers or data brokers. Annotation data is visible only within your workspace.
This section applies only to the amarker.app website, not to the extension. The extension contains no analytics or tracking code, and the content you annotate is never used for website analytics.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on amarker.app to understand how many people visit the website and how they arrive. GA4 may use cookies to collect:
Google processes this data as our service provider. It is used only to understand website traffic, is not connected to your Amarker account or annotations, and is not used for advertising. We have disabled advertising storage.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are not assigned analytics cookies. Google Consent Mode denies analytics storage by default in those regions, so Google receives only cookieless aggregate signals. This is why the website does not display a cookie consent banner.
Visitors elsewhere can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking the relevant cookies in their browser.
